SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
I am a highly-experienced IT professional. Began programming at an early age, using the BASIC language on an Apple 2 back in the '70s and '80s.
Throughout the years, I have kept up with the trends, and was one of the main advocates of email gateways and e-commerce technologies in the Philippines back in the early 1990s.
My web design and e-commerce skills were further honed during my recent 2-year stint in the US.
WORK EXPERIENCE
1997 to 1999
The Email Company, Ortigas Center, Metro Manila
Was responsible for marketing the company's dial-up service with free personalize .com.ph domain. Created a complete marketing campaign for LANAXS, an email gateway software that allows companies to have separate mailboxes for each department or person, with just a dial-up or dedicated connection. This was during the very early stages of the Internet.
2000 to 2005
The Websense Group, Mandaluyong, Metro Manila
As Business Development Manager, I was in charge of marketing the company's services, which included web hosting, web design and applications programming. During my tenure, I brought in hundreds of thousands worth of business to the company, at a time when people were still reluctant to spend their money on a corporate website.
September 2006 to present
Assest Management Group - Carson City, NV, USA
Managed and maintained the company's website, message board, chat room, MySql databases, online store, and email accounts. Managed the servers, domains, and hosting accounts. Created new websites and redesigned and improved the existing ones as needed. Created flyers, banners, and other marketing paraphernalia.
2007 to present
Smarte-load.com - Baguio City
I launched this successful e-commerce venture in 2007. Through constant SEO, website adjustments and fine-tuning of my Adwords campaign, this website has become a mega hit, generating more than $6000 worth of sales per month. This is a real life example of how to attain top ranking in the Google search results for certain keywords. The site's customers come from all over the world, mostly from Europe and the US.
